An engineer on call
Will Pickeral, William Belle LLC · support@williambelle.co
You are making technology decisions without a technologist. Someone has quoted you a number and you have no way to tell whether it is fair. An agency is explaining why the thing you asked for is difficult, and you cannot tell whether it is.
Quoted per client, monthly. Or $150 for a single 60-minute call.
What You Get
An engineer you can ask, on a monthly basis. Advice when you need it, without hiring anyone.
- Technology decisions, talked through in plain language and with the trade-offs named.
- The work your developers or agency do for you, checked. What was delivered against what was agreed, and whether the answer you were given holds up.
- Quotes and proposals reviewed before you sign them.
- A second opinion, on anything.
- A cost-and-health check every three months, produced as a Cloud Cost Review and included rather than billed on its own.
What It Is Not
I do not build anything under this. It is advice, and keeping it that way is what makes it worth having: an engineer who is also bidding on the work has a reason to want the work to be complicated.
If you do want something built, that is a separate quote and we both know which conversation we are in.
Who This Is For
An owner, usually non-technical, who is spending real money on software and has nobody independent to ask. It is the most useful when there is a decision coming: hiring, renewing, rebuilding, or being told something needs to be rewritten.
What It Costs
Contact for a quote. It depends on how much you expect to need and how fast you need it. There is no public price because there is no standard month, and a number here would be wrong for most people who read it.
If you want to try it before committing to a month, book a single call at $150 for 60 minutes. Bring your questions.
Getting Started
Tell me what you are deciding, and I'll come back with a quote. Or book a single call and start there.
